Coalition appointes Osama Kadi as ACU Executive Director

Syria’s National Coalition has appointed Dr. Osama Kadi as its executive director for Aid Coordination Unit, according to Zaman Alwasl.

 Few hours ago, Kadi denied to Zaman the news of being the head of ACU instead of Suhair Attasi.

The rumors came out amid news of Aattasi's termination over corruption claims.

The veteran economic consultant said Attasi will keep its position as the president of the Aid Unit while he will practice his new post with full powers.

Kadi is the president of the Syrian Canadian Council and the Founder and president of the Syrian Center for Political and Strategic Studies. Worked as an economic consultant to the United Nations Development Programme in Syria to write a future study about Syrian development trajectories to 2025.
