FSA founder refutes rumors of kidnap, pledge allegiance to Al Qaeda

The founder of Free Syrian Army denounced to Zaman Alwasl the rumors of being kidnapped or pledging allegiance to Al-Qaeda affiliates.

 ‘’I have not been kidnapped in Turkey as well I have not pledged allegiance to State of Iraq and The Levant,’’ Colonel Riad al-Asaad said.

 Al-Asaad assured in previous interview with Zaman Alwasl his lack of communication with any opposition group including the National coalition.

"I am not looking for any political position in the next phase for that I have not discuss that with anyone,'' the colonel, who lost his leg in battlefronts, said.
