(Zaman Al Wasl)- Fierce clashes are underway between the Islamic State and regime army in the eastern countryside of Hama left 13 troops dead, medics told Zaman al-Wasl on Sunday.
National hospital of Salamiya town has received 13 corpses for slain soldiers killed in the battleground of Aqairabat near Athariya-Rusafa road, an ISIS stronghold were regime forces and allied militiamen failed to deter the radical jihadists.
Also, Zaman al-Wasl learned that the Hawks of the Desert militia fighting alongside the regime's forces in the eastern countryside of Hama withdrew from the fighting three days ago and returned to Lattakia following fierce clashes with the regime's officers following the the militia targeting of an oil convoy of the regime heavy artillery, which led to the destruction of some of its vehicles.
The military campaign against ISIS in the countryside of Salamiye did not achieve any advance although more than two months have passed since its inception.
