(Zaman Al Wasl)- Southern Daraa province has been witnessing rapid acceleration in security chaos, and increased security violations, kidnappings and assassinations, indicating weak grip of the security services in opposition-controlled and absence of a unified security apparatus that reduces internal conflicts and prevents security breaches by the regime and ISIS cells in the region.
Head of the Court of Justice in Horan Ismat al-Absi was subjected to an assassination attempt by targeting the court car when explosive device detonated as the car passed on the road connecting the towns of Umm al-Mayan and Taiba in eastern Daraa countryside. scores were wounded by the bomb.
Also, car of commander of al-Giza military council Daraa was targeted by unknown Sunday with machine guns, resulting in minor injuries.
On Saturday, an improvised explosive device targeted a car belonging to opposition elements on the outskirts of Jalin, controlled by the Khalid bin al-Walid Army where two people were killed and others wounded.
Activist Riyad al-Zein said that the area is witnessing a large proliferation of explosive devices and kidnappings. He pointed the regime cells are responsible for planting these bombs targeting elements and leaders in the Free Syrian Army to destabilize the region. He added that authorities concerned are unable to control the security of the liberated area because of the vastness of liberated space in Daraa, in addition to the widespread weapons chaos and the which makes it easy to sell and buy without real measures taken by the opposition factions in the region.
