(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian regime forces have intensified bombing on Jobar neighborhood on Wednesday seeking to take last rebel stronghold in Damascus, local activists and rebel spokesman said.
Wael Alwan, spokesman for Faylaq al-Rahman, key rebel group fighting regime forces in Eastern Ghouta, said Assad forces are mobilizing troops to overrun the besieged neighborhood; such move has failed several time since revolution erupted in 2011.

Parts of Eastern Ghouta are protected by a cease-fire agreement. The regime has largely targeted areas held by rebel factions not party to that agreement.

Alwan assured to Zaman al-Wasl that his islamist group is ready to sign a ceasefire if the deal adhere to revolution's principles which protect the rights of the Syrian people.
