(Zaman Al Wasl)- An ISIS suicide bombing attacks killed at least 23 Syrian and Russian troops east of Hama province, pushing back the offensive of regime and its allies, residents told Zaman al-Wasl on Sunday.
The attack took place in the ISIS-held Auqairabattown, a subdistrict of the Salamiyah city in Hama province where about 10,000 people have been trapped for months. ISIS has recaptured the town and two villages, according to local activists.
Residents said they saw 7 bodies for Russian soldiers and for members of the Fourth Armored Division, army's top elite unit.
On Tuesday, 15 displaced people from Auqairabat were killed in regime airstrikes on their shelter in the eastern countryside of Idlib, local activists said.
The strikes pounded Wadi al-Uthaib valley, a refuge for hundreds of people who fled ISIS-hed Auqairabat.
Zaman Al Wasl TV interviewed the discipled of Auqairabat in Wadi al-Uthaib valley where they talked about lack of aid and basic needs in their new refuge.
The interviewees have also talked about a forgotten chemical attack on Auqairabat by Assad regime last December that killed at least 90 people, saying it is no less important than the well-famed Khan Sheikhoun chemical attack that dragged U.S. Tomahawk missiles to hit Shayart airfield last April.
