“Open your eyes” UK celebrities join UNICEF Syria Winter appeal

  In a short video, featuring a host of British film stars and musicians, has been released to highlight the plight of children caught up in the Syria conflict, and as a part of UNICEF "Syria Winter Appeal" for the children of Syria. Ewan McGregor, Michael Sheen, Tom Hiddleston, Emma Bunton, Rita Ora and Tinie Tempah appeared in the video, which said: “Millions of Syrian children have lost their home, in camps and communities where they are living, there is no place like home, no place can anyone call a home for a child, please open your eyes to the Syrian Crisis” The video ended with painful footages of Syrian children in their camps, walking with bare feet in cold weather, or seeking warm around fire or by cuddling each other, combined with a musical background says “tell me that you’ll open your eyes”.
