Jarablus protests against Assad, Myanmar's crimes

 (Zaman Al Wasl)- Hundreds of people rallied in the border town of Jarablus, demanding Assad overthrow and voicing support to oppressed Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, local reporter said on Friday.
 
The protesters of the FSA-held town near Turkey have denounced statement issued by U.N. peace talks mediator Staffan de Mistura said on Wednesday, saying Syria’s opposition must accept that they have not won the six-and-a-half year war against Bashar al-Assad, Reutes reported.

“For the opposition, the message is very clear: if they were planning to win the war, facts are proving that is not the case. So now it’s time to win the peace,” he told reporters.

The protesters have also condemned the crimes against the crimes against humanity in Arakan, Myanmar’s Rakhine state as more than 123,600 Rohingya Muslims have crossed from Myanmar into Bangladesh, to escape crackdown, mass gang rapes, killings -- including infants and young children -- brutal beatings, and disappearances.
