Regime artillery kills four people in Talbiseh- Homs

(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 4 civilians killed and and 6 wounded on Friday in regime artillery shelling on Talbiseh town in central Homs province, medics told Zaman al-Wasl.

The aerial and ground attack on northern Homs countryside come after  weeks of ceasefire deal that brought back life aspects to the besieged region.

Medical sources in Talbiseh Hospital said the death toll is expected to rise.

In next door Hama province, at least 8 regime troops and allied militants have been killed on Friday by Tahrir al-Sham Islamist near Salamiyah town.

The surprise attack launched by the jihadist alliance that includes the former Nusra Front group on regime checkpoints near Salamiyah town east of Hama that lies on the enclaves of the Syrian desert where hardline Islamists still control swathes of territory.

Also in Hama, hundreds of civilians left a besieged Islamic State Uqayribat Subdistrict of the Salamiyah  after the Syrian regime and ISIS reached an evacuation deal, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Friday.

A rebel source in northwestern Syria told Reuters that the civilians - mostly shepherds - from Uqayribat, located in Hama and Homs provinces, had arrived in rebel-held Idlib province.
