At this joyous time of year, Zaman
Alwasl is grateful for the faithful readers. It wish you abundance, happiness,
and peace in a new year filled with hope.
Merry Christmas to Syrian people who used to express highest values of
coexistence.
In this occasion, Zaman Alwasl must remember the sweetest times of its
staff (Christians and Muslims) in the embattled Homs since its establishment in
2005.
Once upon a time, Zaman Alwasl
reporter spent his night in Khalid Ibn Al Walid Mosque, escaping the storm, he
didn't take off his cross because nothing to be worry about, he was in one of
God's holy places. He enjoyed telling the story of Muezzin who gave him a
blanket to sleep.
More memories come to mind during Christmas eve: attending Christmas
rituals, celebrations, invocations. The bonds of love and brotherhood between
Syrians are very deep regardless their belief or religion.
Zaman Alwasl family wishes you a
merry Christmas and much success in the New Year.
