(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 11 rebel fighters were injured in an ISIS poison gas attack on their bases near Yarmouk camp in southern Damascus, local reporter said.
The nature of the substance has not yet been confirmed as dozens of suffocation cases reported.
Clashes erupted on Friday betweens moderate rebels and Daesh fighters near Yalda town. The opposition factions in response pounded ISIS stronghold in Yarmouk refugees camp with mortar rounds and heavy guns.
5 ISIS fighters were killed, according to Zaman al-Wasl reporter.
Meanwhile, about 350 people live in ISIS-held neighborhoods of Yarmouk camp.
Last February, ISIS blocked the only remaining humanitarian route to the neighborhoods of al-Riji and Ain Gazal west of Yarmouk camp.
People of Yarmouk have appealed to keep them away from the ongoing conflict in the camp and allow food, drinking water and other basic needs to enter their areas.
