Unknown warplanes hit ISIS stronghold in Daraa, 8 killed

(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 8 ISIS militants killed on Monday when unknown warplanes hit their stronghold in Yarmouk Basin in southern Daraa province as fighting is underway between the Islamic State affiliate and moderate rebels, local activists said.

The strikes on Sahm town in the western countryside of Daraa left senior commanders killed as well one woman lost her life in the attack, according to activist Abu Abdullah al-Sham.
 
Two week ago, six rebel factions led by former al-Qaeda group launched assault on Jaysh Khaled Ibn al-Walid near the Israeli-Occupied Golan Heights.

Tahrir al-Sham alliance backed by Ahrar al-Sham and four armed groups is seeking to defeat to break the siege imposed on the village of Hait as well to take village of Jellin and its camp in the western countryside.

Khaled Ibn al-Walid group, which pledged allegiance to the Islamic State three years ago, has attacked rebels bastions several times near Yarmouk basin.
