Humanitarian aid reaches besieged Talbiseh town

(Zaman Al Wasl)- A 36-truck convoy on Wednesday delivered food, health, nutrition, education items and children's clothes for the besieged  people in the town of Talbiseh in central Homs province, local activists said.

The aid was delivred by staff from the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Across Syria, 3.5 million people are besieged or living in hard-to-reach areas. 

In July, UN aid agencies and partners in Syria reached 1.2 million people in hard-to-reach areas, including 300,000 in militarily encircled locations.
