(Zaman Al Wasl)- The Israeli missile attack on a military research facility west of Damascus on Monday has completely destroyed the production units of Jamraya’s research center, sources told Zaman al-Wasl.
The attack targeted missile factory subordinated to Institute 2000 which directed by Dr. Walid Zoughaib.
Jamraya's research facility was hit by an Israeli attack in 2013.
Israel in the past has targeted positions of Lebanon’s powerful Hezbollah group inside Syria where the Iran-backed group is heavily involved in fighting alongside the Syrian army.
On Saturday, state media said Israeli missiles struck a military position in Kiswa town south of Damascus, and in September Israel attacked a Syrian military site believed to be linked to chemical weapons production.
