(Zaman Al Wasl)- Two rebel groups engaged in heavy fighting in southern Daraa province over killing of a senior commander, local activists said on Monday.
The infighting between Liwa Shuhada’ Enkhel and Mojaheid Houran erupted on Sunday after the assassination one of Enkhel’s commanders in the northern countryside.
The clashes have been ceased early Monday due to pleas of residents who called for holding perpetrators to accountibility and to let the jurists in the Justice House to solve any discords.
