(Zaman Al Wasl)- Clashes continued between ISIS fighters and rebels in the southern suburbs of Damascus for the fifth day as the radical group seeks to seize more blocs in the besieged district of al-Hajar al-Aswad, local activists said Wednesday.
Daesh (ISIS) launched an attack to take ground lies between the neighborhood of al-Hajer al-Aswad and Yalda district near Yarmouk Camp, according to Zaman al-Wasl reporter.
Jaish al-Islam group, which recaptured three blocs from ISIS in al-Zain neighborhood, said 10 ISIS militants had been killed and 13 more wounded in the clashes.
Activist Ayham al-Omar revealed that ISIS wounded have been receiving treatment in the regime-held areas. 13 ISIS wounded were admitted to al-Mahayni Hospital in Damascus, he added.
