‘President and Women’ is a Syrian sitcom will be streaming on YouTube soon; it follows in a comedian approach the relationship between presidents of the dictatorship regimes and women, as their romantic relationships and scandals.
The main character will be Bashar al-Assad according to what have been leaked from his secret life and his multi-relationships to highlight the impact of these affairs on his decisions and behavior.
The sitcom is starring of the prominent actress Mai Skaf and actor Jalal Al Taweel, with number of talented artists from Syria and Jordan.
Fouad Humeira ,the well-known screen writer is presenting his first experience via social media as director and scriptwriter to 5-minute YouTube episodes. The Camera will start rolling on Thursday, Humeira said.
For his part, Fathi Ibrahim Bayoud, editor in-chief of Zaman Alwasl newspaper which funds the project, said that ‘President and Women’ will be an initial step for more big ideas by Zaman Alwasl to be translated via social media,
“YouTube has founded a ground for creativity with high spaces of freedom which we can not find through the TV screens,’’ Bayoud said.
