Rebels target ISIL's sites in Aleppo western countryside


Rebel Free Syrian Army shelled sites of the State of Iraq and The Levant (ISIL) in western countryside of Aleppo by mortar bombs, sources told Zaman Alwasl.

FSA's Division 9 is looking to expel al-Qaeda group from Kafr Joom village in step to expel al-Qaeda, militants from whole western countryside of Aleppo.

Rebels seized two days ago Base 46, strong ISIL’s headquarters in western Aleppo.

Since three weeks, the Syrian Revolutionaries Front and the nascent Mujahedeen Army, the Islamic Front has been engaged in fierce fighting with ISIL in rebel-held areas.

Islamic Front rebels made a progress in Jarabulus and the industrial zone of Sheikh Najjar near Aleppo city against the ISIL.

Syrian conflict is estimated to have killed around 130,000 people and displaced millions more.
