(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian regime forces and key ally Russia gave urged rebel factions to surrender in the northern countryside of Hama province, giving 72-hour timeout before launching major offensive, residents told Zaman al-Wasl.
Jaish al-Izza, Jaish al-Naser and the Second Army, Free Syrian Army units, have agreed to deter any assault on their strongholds in al-Ghab Plain and the town of Qalaat al-Madiq.
Russia, through it’s army mediator, told rebels that there nor solution to avoid the attack if they not 'Deliver their strongholds peacefully'.
The rebel groups said they would pound regime bastion in the loyal areas.
Meanwhile, tens of families have been fleeing the area to escape the imminent offensive.
