(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian rebels killed at least 20 regime troops in coastal Latakia province on Wednesday, source told Zaman al-Wasl.
Rebels in the mountainous Jabal al-Akrad area launched an attack on regime bastions in retaliation to regime offensive on Eastern Ghouta subrubs.
The Russian navy pounded rebels with surface-to surface missiles, but no casualties reported.
Russian forces have also targeted villages of Jisr al-Shughour and Latakia countryside with cluster bombs killing three civilians.
More than 119,000 pro-regime forces have been killed, including 62,000 troops, tens of thousands of loyalist militiamen, and 1,556 fighters from Hezbollah, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
