The anti-Daesh coalition on Thursday says a U.S. military helicopter carrying seven American troops crashed in western Iraq.
"Rescue teams are responding to the scene of the downed aircraft at this time," Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF–OIR) said in a written statement sent to Anadolu Agency.
The coalition said further details will be released after an investigation determines the cause of the incident.
