The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) on Monday said it provided food and blankets to 210 Syrian families in Lebanon.
According to a statement by TIKA, the families in Harisa region, north of Beirut, were given about 7.5 tons of food and 420 blankets.
The statement said the food would be enough to cover two months of basic food needs of each family.
TIKA has spearheaded several projects in Lebanon.
Established in 1992, TIKA is the pioneer institution under the Prime Ministry of the Republic of Turkey responsible for the implementation of development projects and programs in more than 100 countries covering health and humanitarian programs, education and agriculture.
