Jaish Al Mujahideen arrests ISIL Emir west Aleppo

 

 

 Jaish al-Mujahideen fighters have arrested early today the commander (Emir) of the State of Iraq and The Levant in Kafr Hamra town in the western countryside of Aleppo, sources told Zaman Alwasl.

Local activists assured that Ahmed Jamal Naief was among tens of ISIL’s hostages who were arrested during the ongoing clashes in Aleppo province against Al Qaeda’s militants.

A Jihadist group, The Victorious Party In the Land of Ash-Sham, said in a statement posted online, that Mujahideen of Jaish al Muhajireen wal Ansar (JMA) have stormed regime forces in Ma’arat al-Artiq, west of Kafr Hamra and east of Babis, 82 km near Aleppo, Meanwhile, a faction headed by Chechen fighter. Sayfullakh Shishani is also fighting regime forces in Ma’arat al-Artik alongside Jaish al-Mujahideen, the group said.

Sayfullakh’s group joined Jabhat al-Nusra, however the Chechen jamaat appears to have retained its integrity as a unit and fights together with other groups as and when it is needed.

In relevant development, Khaled Abu Anas, a senior Mujahid in Ahrar al-Sham, has accepted the peace treaty among the mujahideen groups of Sheikh al-Muhaysini, Jihadist social media pages reported.
