Bread prices hike in Hasaka city amid lack of flour

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Bread prices have been doubled in Hasaka days after the breadwinners stopped selling bread in the northeastern city, local reporter said Saturday.

Local activists attributed the prices hike to the lack of flour, as the Syrian regime is the only supplier for flour in Hasaka province.

In relevant development, local council of Talbiseh, a key town in the northern countryside of Homs province, called on the International organizations and aid agencies to halt an imminent a humanitarian crisis as the town is in urgent need for flour.
