A Palestinian was killed in an explosion in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday, according to the health ministry.
A child was also injured in the blast, ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said in a statement.
The cause of the explosion remains unknown.
The Hamas-run Interior Ministry has yet to issue a statement on the explosion.
