(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 15 people, including commanders, activists and displaced, have been killed by assailants throughout the opposition-held Idlib province, local reporter said Friday.
The wave of assassinations that rocked Idlib has reflected the deteriorating security condition.
Medics told Zaman al-Wasl that unknown assailants had killed a commander in Tahrir al-Sham and his companions north of the town of Maarret al-Numan.
Another commander in Jaish al-Ahrar was killed in Bennish town in gunfire.
Three rebels freighters who fled Damascus suburbs were killed in the northern countryside of Idlib. Thee more Turkistan fighters killed near Jisr al-Shughour town.
In the southern countryside, a Civil Defense volunteer was killed in the town of Telmans. Also, a university professor and activists were killed on Thursday.
Idlib has been a haven for tens of thousands of rebels and civilians who were forced to abandon their homes in other parts of western Syria that the regime and its foreign military allies have recaptured from rebels.
