Social Nationalist Party mourns Two Fighters killed in Clash with Rebels


   The Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) said in statement, posted online yesterday, that two fighters of its armed group, loyal to Assad,  were killed in a clash with the Free Syrian Army in Al Hosn district of Homs province.

“They were defending their homeland against terrorism and extremism,” the statement said. 

With over 100,000 members, SSNP it is the second largest legal political group in Syria. It has been involved in the armed conflict in Syria to the Assad regime side, especially in Christian towns of Homs.

 SSNP is a secular nationalist political party operating in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and Palestine. It advocates the establishment of a Syrian nation state spanning the Fertile Crescent, including present day Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Cyprus, Kuwait, Sinai, southeastern Turkey and southwestern Iran, based on geographical boundaries and the common history people within the boundaries share.
