(Zaman Al Wasl)- Former al-Qaeda group in Syria has executed 4 people on Saturday said they carried out a series of assassinations in the city of Idlib in the last few weeks.
Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, formerly known as Nusra Front, said the perpetrators were affiliated to Daesh (ISIS) and carried out a series of serial killing against rebel commanders and civilians. Also, they tried to free fellow fighters who still in Tahrir al-Sham's prisons.
The execution took place in the main square in the city of Idlib where tens of people have attended the brutal show.
Idlib has been a haven for tens of thousands of rebels and civilians who were forced to abandon their homes in other parts of western Syria that the regime and its foreign military allies have recaptured from rebels.
