FSA kills seven Hezbollah militants



Free Syrian Army (FSA) killed sevenHezbollah militants in Syrian capital Damascus on Tuesday.

Syria Local Coordination Committee (LCC) announced that FSA members killed 7 Hezbollahmilitants who fight for the regime forces in the al-Ziyabiya region of the capital city.

LCC noted, fierce clashes occurred between Abu Fadil Abbas brigade who fight on Assad side and armed opposition groups. LCC added, several fire brigades headed to the industrial zone of Damascus following blast of a vehicle filled with explosives.

- FSA took control of 80 percent of Minnig Military Airport

Anadolu Agency (AA) teams in the war-torn country captured the images of Free Syrian Army members heading to Minnig Military Airport to protect themselves from the potential attacks of snipers.

Colonel Ismail Nidaf who is in charge of the FSA operations told AA Tuesday that they would take control of the military base after a few more operations.

Nidaf drew attentions to Assad units which were deployed near the airport and said that those troops were one of the last ones based in the country side of Aleppo city.

Colonel Nidaf underscored that FSA took about 80 percent of the airport and said, once they took control of it all, country side of Aleppo would be cleared off from units of the Syrian army and the effects of theAssad regime would diminish.
