(Zaman Al Wasl)- Former al-Qaeda group is tracking ISIS sleeper cells in northern Idlib province after a series of assassinations targeted commanders of the former al-Qaeda branch in Syria.
Senior commander in Hayat Tahrir al-Sham told Zaman al-Wasl that an ISIS sleeper cell was captured in the western countryside of Idlib on Tuesday.
The formerly known as Nusra Front says more sleeper cells in Idlib are being led by the Russia from its coastal air base in Hmeimym.
