(Zaman Al Wasl)- Two Russian missiles hit two coastal villages in Tartus province as the Russian navy began practices late on Thursday, local activists said.
No casualties reported.
Residents of the villages of Bait Hajji and al-Mastaba have blamed the Russian air base in Tartus for 'fatal mistake'.
Tartus is the Russian Navy's only Mediterranean repair and replenishment spot.It is the Russian Navy's only overseas base.
