Novichok victim Rowley discharged: UK hospital

Charlie Rowley, who was poisoned with the nerve agent Novichok, was discharged from a British hospital Friday and poses no risk to the public, his medical team said.

"Earlier today, Charlie Rowley was discharged from hospital. Charlie has been through an appalling experience most of us could never imagine," said Lorna Wilkinson, director of nursing at Salisbury District Hospital in southwest England.

Rowley, 45, and his partner Dawn Sturgess, 44, collapsed at his house in Amesbury, southwest England on June 30. Sturgess died on July 8.
