(Zaman Al Wasl)- Three Syrian workers have died when a huge fire broke out at a bakery in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, media outlets reported Sunday.
The blaze took hold at the bakery in the al-Bus area. Footage from the scene showed near total devastation.
The Lebanese security has started investigations to find out the causes of the fire.
Eye-witnesses told the Lebanese media that the victims were surrounded by fire in the back of the bakery what failed the rescuing efforts by the Lebanese Civil Defense.
Lebanon has one million registered Syrian refugees, but believes the number is more like 1.5 million.
