7 Syrian brothers slaughtered by Assad's militia in Daraa



Shabiha militias have executed nine people by slaughtering them with knives in the village off Al Hara in Daraa Suburbs Wednesday morning, activists said.

Among the martyrs, seven brothers and a father and his son, witnesses confirmed.

Shabiha, who consist of local guard committees and security forces from a nearby regime centers in the town, have slaughtered the victims while they were working in their farms, their aim was to intimidate the villagers to flee their homes, activists said.

Shabiha militiamen are armed civilian forces of an estimated ten thousands, who fight alongside the regime army in addition to doing dirty operations of arrest and liquidation to activists, and are paid monthly salaries from the regime.

They also steal civilians ‘properties and houses in areas where they enter, and loot civilians who pass on their checkpoints deployed in regime’s areas.

Daraa governorate, south Syria, is witnessing fierce battles between rebels and regime forces, and its cities and towns are subjected to heavy bombardment by artillery, aviation and explosive barrels.

During the 3 years of the revolution, the regime's forces committed many massacres of civilians and killed thousands of women and children in Daraa.
