An earthquake measuring 4.7 on Richter scale hit the
Syrian-Turkish border at dawn on Friday and lasted for several seconds,
according to the International Centers for Seismology.
The center of the quake was 68 km SE of Adana, 22 km SW of
Dörtyol . It occurred at a depth of 14 km.
The earthquake caused panic to
people in these areas and was felt by the northern cities of Syria.
