(Zaman Al Wasl)- Pro-regime news feeds mourned senior Air Intelligence general who had been killed by Daesh in southern Syria.
Brigadier General Imad Muhsen Mohamed, 52, was considered as one of elite Air Force officers who blindly served Bashar al-Assad.
Daesh killed the notorious general in clashes in the desert of Sweida, activists said Sunday.
The Alawites-dominated areas are still the main manpower supply for the Assad regime.
More than 125,000 pro-regime forces have been killed in seven years of brutal war, according to local monitoring groups.
