(Zaman Al Wasl)- Satellite images showed that the suspected US-led airstrikes on Aleppo city last Friday had targeted weapons depots in the Assad Academy for Military Engineering.
The airstrikes rocked what activists reported as an Iranian weapon arsenal and training camps in the northern city of Aleppo.
Footage surfaced on social media showed plumes of smoke above the neighborhoods of al-Hamdaniyah and al-Mashhad.
So far, the state-run media has ignored the reports of Aleppo’s attack.
Tehran has sent thousands of Iran-backed fighters to back Assad's forces in the country's seven-year civil war.
