(Zaman Al Wasl)- Skirmishes erupted Thursday between the US-led Syrian Democratic forces and Tribesmen in eastern Deir Ezzor province, local activists reported.
The Kurdish-led forces clashed with the Elite Forces, mostly tribesmen backed by former opposition leader Ahmed Jarba.
Activist Taj al-Allow said the infighting in al-Bahra desert left dozen wounded.
The clash between YPG fighters and the Arab tribesmen was the second this year after May clashes.
The tension solved after the US Army mediation, according to al-Allow.
The SDF has been the main partner of the U.S.-led coalition against Islamic State in Syria, helping drive the jihadists out of swathes of northern and eastern Syria last year.
