Al Qaeda leader in Syria mourns fellow commander, attacks opposition: statement

Abu Mohamed al-Golani, the leader of al-Qaeda-linked group Al Nusra Front, in voice statement has mourned Syrian rebel commander, who fought alongside al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden and was close to its current chief Ayman al-Zawahiri.

 Abu Khaled al-Suri, co-founder of Ahrar al-Sham Movement, was killed Sunday by a suicide attack in al-Halq area of Aleppo.
