Islamist rebels have targeted Bashar
al-Assad’s hometown by Grad missiles,
Islam Army spokesman told Zaman Alwasl.
Captain, Islam Alloush said that the
main Islamic Front unit, Islam Army, had targeted six bases of Assad’s forces
in Latakia city by Grad missiles, leaving dozens wounded.
The regime news agency (SANA) reported that “A terrorist rocket attack which took place on the outskirts of the city of Latakia on Sunday injured three civilians and damaged a number of residential buildings and cars.”
SANA said that a rocket shell landed
on the main street in Demsarkho area, wounding three citizens and causing
damage to a number of cars parked in the site.
A second shell hit behind a mall in
the residential Project 10th area and caused material damage to a number of
residential buildings and cars, SANA added.
No casualties or damage however was
caused by a third shell which landed near the estuary in al-Raml al-Janoubi
neighborhood, SANA said.
