Presidential law to restrict Syrians who flee war-torn country

 
 Syrian regime has issued a new law which is to ban Syrian citizens from leaving their country without permission (exit visa).
Syrian News Agency (SANA) said Bashar al-Assad Tuesday issued a new law prohibiting entry into or departure from Syria for persons who do not hold valid passports or any alternative document with entry visa stamped on it by any of the Syrian diplomatic or consular missions abroad or anybody assigned with this by Syria.
The controversial law in essence is to limit high rates of fleeing the country by thousands of people who try to escape the sectarian war, activists said.
On the other said, citizen of Arab states who used to visits Syria without visa they ought to apply now accordion to the law.
 Syria's three-year conflict began as popular protests against four decades of Assad family rule but changed into armed insurgency under a security force crackdown.
Now the major Arab state is in a full-scale civil war that has killed more than 140,000 people and forced over 6 million - more than a quarter of the population - to flee their homes.
