(Zaman Al Wasl)- The head of the regime’s Military Intelligence Division on Sunday has met with the residents of Tafas town in southern Daraa province at a Russian request to discuss the fate of detainees, local activists told Zaman al-Wasl.
The heavy-guarded Maj. Gen. Mohamed Mhalla promised to release about 30 detainees held by the Military Security (Intelligence), ignoring dozens of the town’s detainees who still held by other security services.
Mhalla assured that the regime will take into account reconciliation deals and its outcomes in regard to detainees.
