9 regime troops killed in TOW missile attack in Idlib: Tahrir al-Sham
(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least nine regime army troops killed by missile attack launched by the former al-Qaeda group in Idlib province, the group’s propaganda agency said Monday.

Hayat Tahrir al-Sham militants have rocked an army battalion with the US-made TOW missile east of Idlib city, Ebaa agency reported.

11 more troops were wounded in the attack.

Idlib city is under the control of Tahrir al-Sham, a bloc of Islamist militant factions spearheaded by Syria’s former al Qaeda affiliate, and has long been targeted by bombings and assassinations.

Since the Syrian revolution erupted in 2011, more than 560,000 people have been killed, and more than 6 million people have been displaced.
