(Zaman Al Wasl)- Two civilians, including a woman, were killed in regime artillery fire on a rebel-held area in the coastal Latakia province, activists said Thursday.
Two more children were wounded due to the bombardment.
The artillery rounds have also targeted Jisr al-Shughour region near the Turkish border.
Since Jan. 1, the Assad regime and Iran-backed terrorist groups have repeatedly violated the Sochi agreement, which prohibits acts of aggression in the de-escalation zone.
Over the same period, regime attacks have left at least 105 civilians dead and more than 300 injured, according to Anadolu Agency.
Syria has only just begun to emerge from a devastating conflict that began in 2011 when the Assad regime cracked down on demonstrators with unexpected severity.
