Syria’s key opposition group
the National Coalition will issue and renew passports for Syrians abroad in the
forthcoming months, especially for who oppose Bashar al-Assad' regime and can't
renew their passports over security precautions, source in the Syrian community
in Kuwait has quoted the coalition leader, Ahmed Jarba, as saying.
Mohammad Farouk Tayfour, NC's Political committee member, also
has reassured renewing news during his meeting with the Syrian community in
Kuwait, and revealed that process would take place with help of French
authorities and other European countries, which would print the new passports,
and to be accompanied with the old ones, according to sources.
Tayfour confirmed that those passports would be recognized at
all entries and exits to other countries, mentioning the agreement with the
European counties to recognize them.
The opposition embassy in Doha has
announced earlier the possibility of renewing passports for all Syrians who
live in Qatar or other Arabic and foreign countries. Translation by Yusra Ahmed
