Official documents: Assad presents criminal and agent for Israeli intelligence as liberated prisoner

The return of the remains of Israeli soldier Zechariah Baumel is still viewed as a scandal. A scandal after a scandal, the last of which is one of two Syrians whom the regime has asked to be released. This person does not only have a long criminal record, with the testimony of the criminal archive issued by the regime itself, but is also an Israeli intelligence agent, according to his statement recorded during his trial.

As soon as Russia handed over the body of Israeli officer Zechariah Baumel, who was buried in Yarmouk camp, Bashar al-Assad’s and his regime’s embarrassment was severe, at least in front of the loyalists who raise slogans of resistance and sovereignty for him.

Resulting from this slap in the face by Russia, Al-Assad complained of being ignored completely and that a deal of this magnitude was concluded without even informing him..

Thus, according to the regime, Moscow was "pressured" to secure the release of prisoners held by Tel Aviv, in compensation for the delivery of the remains of Baumel and to recover from the prior humiliation. However, what happened is exactly the opposite, as the details revealed by Zaman al-Wasl here will suffice for Assad to further lose face and to uncover his foolishness, as a criminal looking for those who are like him.

In order to be practical, we have relied on certified documents proving that one of the people whose release the regime has demanded is someone who is well versed in criminality and violations, along with his self-admitted work for the Israeli intelligence.

Tawil’s name was mentioned in the official criminal archive as follows: Zidane Ibrahim Tawil, his mother Tufaida, born 1968, indicted on 15 charges ranging from attempted murder, theft of public funds, smuggling and gang formation.

Zaman al-Wasl has official copies of these memos, stating that Zidane Tawil is wanted in several regions, including the Quneitra Police Department, the Public Prosecutor's Office in Damascus, and Interpol. The oldest of these criminal memos dates back to 1989 (specifically 28/01/1989) sentencing him to 5 years of imprisonment.
