Syrian opposition Embassy of the National Coalition in Paris provided tens of Syrian citizens with visas for special cases in order to come to France to follow up their asylum files , in addition to “Schengen visas " for political reasons related to the activity of Syrian opposition and coalition ‘s recommendations in some cases .
This came within a report submitted by the Coalition Embassy clarifying its activity outlines in France during the last two months.
According to the report, Zaman Alwasl was a reason in not dealing with details and sensitive issues that “are no longer published in written reports for broad media due to a previous experience.
In two previous reports, Zaman Alwasl republished the original literal copies which contained sensitive issues related to communications and stances of key international players in the Syrian crisis, which complicated the relation between these parties because of disclosing these issues on broad media , "according to what was stated in the last report literally “
The report reviewed the embassy’s work in regard of political files; where communication and cooperation is continuing with the international key parties in the Syrian file, in particular the French, American administrations, and European and cross- regional countries through their ambassadors in Paris.
The report revealed that a coup not in favor of the revolution happened in the civil society, political parties, trade unions and the French media, which has become well known, and there is serious work project with this issue in a new frame that will be addressed in a subsequent period, according to the report.
The report described the community’s activity through the opposition coordination in France as modest and inactive despite its relative regularity, but unfortunately it is not directed to the French community, but to the same opposition community.
And according to this unsatisfactory background, the opposition organized a solidarity campaign on the occasion of the third anniversary of the revolution, in addition to other activities.
In the field of media and journalism, the report revealed the establishment of the coalition’s media and press office in France which covers all work aspects in civil and media society to change the grim image which the regime succeeded in portraying about the revolution and opposition.
This image is summed up to today’s international community choice in Syria between the (secular) regime and (Daesh) or what they call “extremist terrorist organizations”.
The report also discussed other issues related to the fields of relief, economic and political asylum files and visas to France.
