A helicopter was forced into an emergency landing Monday and crashed on top of a building in Manhattan, according to New York officials.
"[Fire Department of New York] members are operating on scene at 787 7th Ave in Manhattan, helicopter crash landing," the fire department said on Twitter.
The crash created a fire in the building which New York's Governor Andrew Cuomo said personnel was working to contain.
Cuomo said that there may be casualties among those in the helicopter.
