Red Crescent in Aleppo suffers gunshots by Assad forces

 

 Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) in Aleppo suffered gunshots by the Assad forces in front of Aleppo Central Prison, sources revealed to Zaman Alwasl.

SARC-Aleppo has begun two days ago sending humanitarian aids to Aleppo Central Prison in a convoy, after coordination with all parties on the ground but the source assured that inability to deliver the food to 5000 prisoners after the regime forces refusal.  

Red Crescent's convoy was included also a Judicial Committee to study the cases of those who can benefits from the amnesty and prisoners who finished their punishment period, on the other hand, a Medical Committee with medicines and needed medical equipments to provide the necessary medical care to all the needy according to priority of health status. SARC intervention field team volunteers accompanied the convoy within vehicles under the Emblem of the Red Crescent.

 Syrian Arab Red Crescent  Is an independent humanitarian organization of public utility, and its permanent and continuous, and it has a legal personality and enjoys financial and administrative independence. It was founded in 1942 as a humanitarian association, and it has been recognized by the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva (ICRC) in 1946, SARC is committed to Geneva Conventions and the seven basic principles of the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
