(Zaman Al Wasl)- The Empty Stomachs hunger strike campaign has appealed to individuals, peoples, NGOs, trade unions, parliaments, international and human rights institutions to do their part to lift the veil of silence on the most horrible crime of the 21st century.
Since the beginning of last June, members of the campaign have called for stopping the Holocaust in Idlib and Hama, where four million civilians were under fire, the risk of death, daily bombardment with internationally prohibited weapons, under the conditions of an unfair war.
The campaigners demanded the prosecution of the criminals, led by Bashar al-Assad’s fascist dictatorship and his Russian ally, who uses the blood of children as the gateway to his global domination.
"We, in Syria, represent a legitimate revolution for rights that should be guaranteed to every human being, upholding its foundations that demand a democratic, free and democratic homeland for all Syrians, and aspire to a state of law governed by a modern constitution and a social contract that unites its population and is shaped by its people," the statement said.
In the name of the revolution, the campaigners thanked all those who attended, participated or held sit-ins related to the campaign, both in their city and all those who support the Syrian people morally and financially at home, in the camps or in the countries of asylum.
They concluded by saying that, "Everyone agrees that silence in the face of injustice is complicity, silence is a sign of satisfaction, but justice will prevail, peoples do not forget and history is ruthless."
